- El presente trabajo trata sobre el procedimiento llevado a cabo para el desarrollo e implantación del Sistema Integral de Información Institucional, cuyo objetivo general es promover el mejoramiento del acopio, procesamiento y análisis de la información estadística, que muestre las variables e indicadores a considerar para la toma de decisiones en la planeación y evaluación de la educación superior. Actualmente la Universidad de Colima cuenta con un total de 22,310 alumnos inscritos, y ofrece 118 programas educativos, tiene 13 bachilleratos, 8 profesional asociado, 55 licenciaturas y 41 posgrados, concentrados estos en 23 Unidades Administrativas, 21 Dependencias de Educación Superior y 5 Delegaciones. La Universidad de Colima es productora de información y es responsable de atender las necesidades de información que solicitan entre otras, las siguientes instancias: SEP, INEGI, SHCP, CENEVAL, IES, UNESCO, FIMPES, ANUIES, CONACYT, COEPES, Secretarías de estado, gobierno estatal, embajadas, etc. Investigadores, especialistas, profesores, estudiantes y público en general. The goal of this document is to descript the process that was done for the development and implantation of the Integral System of Institutional Information, which objective is to promotes the improvement of the store, procedure and analysis of the statistic information, that shows the variables and indicators to consider taking decisions in the planning and evaluation of the superior education. Presently the University of Colima accounts with a total of 22,310 registered students, and offers 118 educational programs. It has thirteen high schools, eight which have professional associates, 55 licenciature degrees and 41 post grades, these concentrating in twenty three administrative units, 21 dependencies of superior education and five delegations . The University of Colima is a producer of information responsible for attending to the necessities of information they seek among others, as following instances: SEP, INEGI, SHCP, CENEVAL, IES, UNESCO, FIMPES, ANUIES, CONACYT, COEPES, Secretaries of state, State Government, etc., also investigators, specialists, profesors and in general the public. |
